I’ve read these OT stories for years and always wondered: does anyone know someone who really thinks they have had these experiences? Or is someone on staff just making them up?

I must be at OTVIII these days. When it came time to renew my driver’s license I was told there was a problem from a ticket in another state. Sure enough I told my self there must be a mistake and there was my license in the mail a few days later. Love that OT OMG If I tried to drink anything it would surly be expelled through my nose from laughing so hard.

From what I recall they are from “success stories”.
In the course rooms and other places they had these little forms and clipboards where they encouraged you to write down your “success story”, your “wins”. I’m sure it’s real purpose was to gather stories like this so they could be published for PR.

Yea, it’s as if something appears even slightly magical (from coincidence, or they still lived to tell the story), then obviously it’s attributed to my magical OT powers. The epitome of conditioning/brainwashing.

When I was in SCN there were always excuses, or just other flat out made up bullshit.
When I asked about why don’t you/they levitate a pencil or something it was always:
“Oh that’s just a waste of energy”, or “If they did it it would enturbulate (read confuse, bewilder, bother) people”.
Another bullshit conversation claiming they could control slot machines in Vegas if they wanted too, but it “wouldn’t be ethical”.

If he was so “OT” and all, why was he driving so fast under those unsafe conditions (wet roads, very low visibility). He says it himself “..it was physically impossible to stop that fast at the speed I was going..”

Hello, “E.T.” moron, maybe you shouldn’t have been driving that fast. Then cars wouldn’t be suddenly “flashing” into view.

Having that wordy fellow take 3 paragraphs to say ( eloquently ) that he wasn't going to comply struck me as funny at the time. I guess It wasn't to Nat , she blocked me. I can live with her being angry with me , but I did want a chance to say sorry. I also wanted the chance to thank her for all the computer help and her shoops. The one she did of fat beagle is my screen saver and Xmas is everyday on my avatar. I am sorry I will not be seeing her, she is one of my favorites.
