Boy howdy, is that ever true! $cn is a whole bizarre and intricate world, with it’s own very technical jargon that’s almost as impenetrable as neuroscience nomenclature.

That’s one of the reasons that very few academics who you might expect to have the best insight into the subject almost never do (see Chris Shelton’s recent set of vids on $cn apologists). Unless you’ve been in and were basted in the unique language and culture, or have studied it intensely for years, it’s very difficult for outsiders to have the same depth of understanding and nuanced views on the subject.
