I agree that the street prostitute trying to feed a child at home is much more honorable than a Christie or Giuliani. They don’t care who they hurt as long as they get what they want. They really don’t have much if any humanity. Giuliani, like Ted Cruz is finished and Christie…well every time I see his picture, I think of Poppin’ Fresh, the Pillsbury dough boy. Anyway, Christie is also finished and has a trial awaiting him soon.

Of course Trump doesn’t give a damn and the phrase “blue collar billionaire” is an oxymoron, yet people totally believe every word Trump says, the more outrageous, the more they believe.
A man, born to privilege, living his life in a penthouse with a trophy wife, children who were sent to the best prep schools and than the Ivy’s and into the family business. His use of language as in: “My Afro-American”, “My Jew son-in law” etc etc.

I live in a society where guns are controlled so strictly that I have never seen any in my adult life that were not in the hands of local Royal Marines on full-kit training runs across Dartmoor. I think we are none the worse for this.

You can’t really control ideas in the same way – neither should you. It’s too easy an idea to escalate.

IfJudge Whittemore was required to recuse himself might it actually be a positive thing for the Garcias? It seems Judge Whittemore has been rather inconsistent on this case. A new judge might not be the worst thing, perhaps. But of COURSE, that’ s MORE delays.

In any event, it seems to me Wally Pope is basically saying it’s wrong for the judge to maintain files with certain types of information pertaining to a case. I’m not a lawyer, but does anyone know: can a lawyer keep files with “personal research” such as newspaper clippings, academic research and so forth as well as letters sent by knowledgeable non-litigant individuals like Cindy pertaining to a case and consider that in making their rulings? Or are they legally bound to only consider info/evidence that is submitted through formal legal channels?

What’s next? Perhaps Refers will be ordered to dig holes in the grassy strips between the street and the sidewalks in Downtown Clearwater. That way, Scientologists walking outside will have a place to easily stick their heads in the sandy soil in the event a passing motorist shouts out something critical of the cult, or a pedestrian walks by carrying a copy of The Unbreakable Miss Lovely or other COS-critical literature.
