You resolve CD with another Defense Mechanism, Rationalization. You are Rationalizing when accept only some facts and dismiss others out of hand, such as you are doing with Benghazi. There are better ways to resolve Cognitive Dissonance.

I hadn’t understood your comment until reading many comments. Sorry about THDNE.
I get enough to satisfy my curiosity on the world news channels and really only pay attention to cult news and discussions here. Therefore, I’m not here a lot recently since putting my head to education of all the world events and all opinions. Of course I check in each day for the cult news.
