You’re quite correct in your spelling. According to Google, it was available from 2006-2008 which about jibes with my memory. It is easy to make, but the official bottled stuff had just the right mixture for me. I miss it.

Time Enough for Love wasn’t one of Heinlein’s better novels, IMO, but it’s still better than anything LRH wrote.

I was just comparing the price of a new copy of “Battlefield Earth” to “Time Enough for Love” by Robert Heinlein at amazon.com. They were $22.95 and $7.84 respectively at the time that I checked a few days ago, but the price of Battlefield Earth has been cut to $14.35 as of 6 Jul.

If one wants to buy the “Battlefield Earth” DVD, it is $37.95 new, $2,56 used. Add $3.99 to the used DVD price for shipping.

In any case, do we still believe what these scios say about their intentions? I am entertaining the idea that they will not do it and it is just a publicity/PR thing. It’s like the basics that were supposed to be put into all the libraries. Some made it but most didn’t even though scientology announced, in our country at least, that the Project Basics Into Libraries was Done! Clap, clap, clap. Yoohooo! What a joke.

The theory is that it takes an awful lot of effort to control large numbers of general public, for comparative little spend at the lower levels.

I think a lot of the targeting of general public is about getting people to staff the services. When you become interested in Scientology and too poor for services, they will reg you for staff/Sea Org. For reasonably well off they will keep hitting you for Ideal Org fundraising and IAS statuses. These are the people who are held in place by fueling their aspiration to be like a Duggan or Cardone, or other well known Scientology Big Beings. But everything DM does is about keeping the very wealthy sucking on the teet, hence the massive charade for these people of building openings (=expansion) and handing out brochures (=social betterment).

This transition looks to have happened over the last 10-15 years.

The Sea Org is getting refueled through children of Scientologists – 2nd and 3rd generation Scientologists, and public from those parts of the world where Scientology is considered a punchline (e.g. Taiwan, Latin America and Eastern Europe).

Everyone else has learned the secret of invisibility, and I’m still stuck here as opaque as you please. Just a couple more courses and a little more auditing…
