Hey Xenuvirus,

Never been in Scientology, just on the bunker site. I don't know where the contempt comes from I am an atheist so demonizing won't work I guess i see them as unrealistic or willfully stupid. I have been watching the Trump rallies and the continual display of open aggression to other peoples views, ie any one disagrees with them personally is also interesting. From the assorted variety of openly racist people who make up his ground swell to the homogeneous look of the audience so predominately young white men. Often angry white men. They are only too human to me. Sad, angry frightened people who think rallying behind a loud, angry bigot is somehow going to improve their own lives, and for some maybe he would.

When Trump says "Make America Great Again. I am struck by the pure semantics of "again" It suggests in many ways a back ward step and desire to 'return" to something from before, that irrepressible longing for the supposed good old days... The good old days were not really that good, and for many people they were abysmal.

Some conservative republicans are probably of the make it all level, all even give everyone a fair shot and those who rise rise those who don't don't, work your way up and don't expect a hand out. But so much of it seems so biased and sided and unwilling to admit that the desk was already stacked and the playing field was never level to begin with.

For some, they probably really are openly racist and they are entitled to their opinions so long as it isn't institutionalized they can believe what they want.

I am pretty much the antithesis of what many conservative republicans would be, to many I am a God less, humanist who seeks to alter the status quo that makes some equal and others "more equal than others" if you get my meaning.

I do feel comfortable attributing so much negativity to Trump and these particular supporters. When the man himself opens his mouth and makes fun of people for race, gender, physical handicaps or last names that "sound Mexican." I mean how much more openly negative and hostile can he be? unless you feel racism isn't hostile then that is also a judgement call.

I don't have to respect people. I have thought about that. I remember talk show (yelling shows) from the eighties when people felt the best way to dialogue serious issues was to have fist cuffs on national television. You don't really Have to respect people. You are best to, and it is a slippery slope to follow disrespect where it can lead, but you don't have to respect people. By law you have to not threaten people or be on their property or touch people. Lot's of people don't respect other people. As long as you don't act on it.

If i think some one is stupid or misinformed that is just my opinion. If I think it gives me the right to make decisions for them or tell them how to live, well, you could do that to, if it's just words. If you see what I mean. I get very nihilistic in my thinking. I figure we will all be dead in 500 years what does it matter.

I really don't get the Homo Novi all I keep seeing in that movie with the giant greeny blue people, Avatar.

I guess I don't see the problem, I am expressing contempt and negativity from people I see and hear over flowing with contempt and negativity. So much so that even the Republican Party want's this man to go away. They are having a hell of a time getting any one to speak at the convention, next to no one in politics want to be associated with him and his brand which is so often being associated with open bigotry and bias, taunts on the level of a school yard bully, as well as an obvious lack of real world political knowledge both international and of the nation itself. ( or maybe he really is hiding his great ideas up his sleeve.)

Still they are just my opinions and all I do it vote them.

I am not bewildered just curious what do you believe, what is important to you, what do you feel would be them best way for the country and the world to go in. And I don't mean policy, I don't claim to understand policy with out looking at it, just ideas and ideals and what are you values, what do you see in Trump that you support, and how do you feel he will best as the leader of the nation?

So far you have said what you think I am saying, and questioning it. But if you won't say what you believe and what you think and why it is important to you it doesn't make for much of and interchange.

I am 45, I don't want to do that let's go yell at each other on the internet thing. We can argue? And discuss things. That is the only way anyone is going learn or understand anything. But I suppose we don't have to? If the conversation is too stupid just let me now and we can drop it.

I am not much of a peace monger, The massacre in the airport in Turkey.... While "fighting fire with fire" as Donald Trump responded to day makes sense to me, you have to be careful where you set the fire. Still, fact is these people are going to keep killing people they don't like. That is just not going to stop.

Maybe it is too off topic for Tony's blog any way?...I don't know. ?

I seek to understand the motivation behind the contempt and hate being shown not only Trump, but his supporters. You feel perfectly comfortable attributing so much negativity to so many people. I can't help but wonder where that comes from. Demonizing them must help, because it makes them less than human, right? You are the Homo Novi and they are the unwashed, uneducated, bigoted masses. Such a basic lack of respect for your fellow man leaves me awestruck. I don't know how you do it, which was why I asked if it was leftover Scientology conditioning.

Xenuvirus, Not demonize surly. But yes if I were to be a total assuming moron here and break it down into the lowest common denominator, I do feel in many ways that many of the people Donald Trump has to back him are selfish, bigoted, uneducated and angry. And that many of them really believe that this rich, narcissistic, uninformed man, who can't keep his deeply held opinions straight from one day to the next is going to help them personally, fix the economy and promote world peace by isolationism.

But then that depends on the day of the week, was this his calling for a wall to keep bad brown people out of the US day or calling a US senator a Native American name as if it were an epithet day, or him openly looking forward to using nuclear weapons to solve global security issues day?

Feel free to disagree with me, why value my opinion at all, it is just that. I am less curious as to why you feel "demonized" because I maybe disagree with you on politics?

Yes, it is contempt, i admit it, but that's my problem. I have a sort of a devaluing "My God how stupid can you be?" feeling. I wonder about people who are really poor, left out, left behind who feel the very rich and very right wing really have their best interests in mind when they send their jobs over seas, reduce and remove rules for the saftey of workers in favor of productivity, hide their income, when they are not bragging about it, and do everything possible to take and take and take and give nothing back.

If you are more conservative politically, I can understand feeling out of step on this blog, it does seem to skew left and it sounds like some of the people who slid into Scientology, were sliding out from other seekings of youth in the day.

I think in many ways Scientology now represents the worst possible outcome of an unchecked totalitarian corporation: it's abusive figurehead using draconian measures for maintaining absolute control, the enforced isolationism, greed, arrogance, selfishness. The total paranoia of outside influence or meddling. It's become a self serving system with no constraint, a sort of business as oligarchy. Which seems to be to be what Trump is seeking. Mr. Trump may wave the American flag every chance he gets but he doesn't want to be elected, he wants to be crowned.

But that is just my opinion.

And who brought up Hilary Clinton?

Maybe between the "call me" billboard and its related protests, along with the utterly terrifying Fred Haseney and his OT level camera tech, Miscavige is just too chicken to stay in LA.

Seriously, I'm betting that "call me" is causing some severe discomfort in PAC base Sea Org. Just look at the frozen expressions on their faces in Fred's photos, especially during the first drive-by protest. (Way to go, Cece and Lynn and puppeh!) And it clearly isn't going to stop, despite Miscavige's orders to Otto. (Way to go, Fred!)
