Of course not. Everyone providing information through the Web is helping. Though it’s important to go over the details and represent the facts correctly. Your blog looks great to me.

There are two main educational reading approaches.

1. Books that are comprehensive, credible, carefully researched and properly footnoted on the subject of destructive cults and how they work.

2. Reading specific focused articles or academic papers, which is why I posted the links.

It’s up to each individual and frankly what they have the time and stamina to read through.

But IMO it’s vitally important for former cult members to educate themselves concerning what is a destructive cult and how cults deceive, manipulate and manage people minds.

Without that understanding there is the possibility of falling into another cult and/or unnecessarily placing or inferring that the victim is somehow to blame.

Not everyone will dig as deep as you. But there must be some effort to become more aware and gain a deeper understanding of what’s wrong with cults and how they trick, trap and exploit innocent people.
