I also don’t care to use terms and labels like white supremacist without supporting facts, which is why I didn’t do so. I used the terms harm, brainwash and nonsense. Less inflammatory, though brainwash may have been a bit strongly worded.

I am honestly trying to figure out why people believe him – I respect their (your) right to do so and to vote for him, but it is obvious to me that he is not for real. After comparing the character of the Trump supporters I know to the man himself, and his candidacy, I see glaring inconsistencies. I’ve had to conclude that it’s a cult of personality type of thing. He said he’s the best, so he’s the best. He said he can build a wall, so a wall will get built. They are taking him at his word even though his words don’t match up with his record or his actions.

I believe he is taking advantage of the fear, frustration and anger that have been building up over the past 8 years. I understand the frustration. I do not understand the level of anger and fear myself, though I can see who has been stirring it up for years, because money (conservative punditry is a big business). It’s obvious to me that he’s taking advantage of the fear and anger, and stirring up more of it, to serve himself, and not our country.

We are more divided than ever, and I think that’s a crying shame, though I’m about as conservative as they come. I believe strongly in the ideals and convictions of conservationism. I do not think that makes those on the left sub-human, or my enemies, or “libtards”. In fact, they are my family, friends, neighbors and fellow countrymen. I respect them, even if we don’t agree. I will not vote for someone who will take advantage of peoples fears and anger to further his self at the expense of our country, which is what I believe he is doing. I’ve never seen such an appalling, dirty, dishonest, polarizing campaign.

tl:dr – vote for him if you like, you have every right to do so. I think he’s BAD news.
