The woman I spoke to yesterday was nice and said if they don’t get feedback they don’t know those things and like I said, she totally agreed that patients should have been notified about the calls being sent somewhere else, who they were, etc. I mean, yeah, I’ll post about what’s up with me here in the bunker–for basically the world to see 😉 But someone on the phone with access to my medical records and I have no clue who they are and I’m trying to make an appointment to see my doctor? Um, no.

Ooomph!! That is just too perfect that she is extreme Christian. Lordy. That does makes it all worth it. Glad you spoke up though. You now have the decision on how far to take this the next time you talk with her. Tell her, “Oh, hold on, Satan is on the other line!” When she asks, what? Say, Steven, Steven is on the other line. Called the woman who emailed me. She agreed with me that they should have notified patients about the call center and also perhaps not call it a ‘call center’ as that makes people think of call centers in India taking calls for anything/everything. Found it IS exclusively for the health system, records are secure, people answering phones are medical techs and/or have some medical training. I think they WILL be sending out an email about the calls—she said perhaps if it was called _____healthy system name____ care coordination center that sounds better than ‘call center’ and I agreed. And of course putting notices at the doctor’s offices too for those who don’t have an email addy. INFORM PEOPLE!! Is that that hard?? Apparently so.

Also learned the woman who has the same name as a woman in my doctor’s office and who also sounds just like her and whom I said “It’s miss tia how the fuck ya doing?” is an extreme christian. That cracked me the fuck up!! I knew I had shocked her, as I had thought it was the lady in my doctor’s office; but to know her knickers were really in a twist amused me greatly—yeah that’s sadistic but as the woman I spoke with yesterday said, they need to accept patients as they are on the phone, including how they speak provided they aren’t being abusive, which I wasn’t being. 😀

They didn’t cut back on office staff at my doctor’s office. They didn’t really have anyone specific person answer the phones and sometimes you’d get VM. I didn’t have a problem with that.

Sad the chick had no sense of humor, that’s gotta make her work days longer!! I would have said “lighten up!! dafuq?!”
