You asked good questions, Aaron. It’s great that you’ve maintained feelings of compassion. So many scientologists feelingless – the public, too. I heard OT 5s and 8s boasting about it. It’s so knocked out of us, that is, the need for compassion or feelings of any sort much. I know people, Chris Shelton has admitted to this, who had to learn how to feel again after leaving scientology.

The answer for me to the question about why scientology is for the able only is financial is: How could moneyless people (they’re not able, right?) contribute financially to Hubbard? How could Hubbard make money his millions if he’d taken in people without money or the ability to go and make it?

oh yah, and OTVIII had to be done ‘off the cross-roads of civilization in a distraction free environment’. Apparently that is why, LOL…surprised DM didn’t use that in his promotion of the basics or GAT 1 or 2 or whatever… with all the distractions OTVIII in its first release edition led to a number of truly psychotic individuals. One I saw slobbering while doing a reg cycle and the other I knew was reportedly, by a friend much closer to him than I, was ‘all messed up’.

I vaguely and with a lack of certainty recall that even the auditing sessions of 8 were only done while at sea…but I think that is doubtful as the ship was in port a lot of the time at one or other country.
