Oh Kay I feel for both of us.. Others don’t understand. That’s why they are called Phobias ..they are irrational fears.

I told my husband if he didn’t catch it.. I would move.. That is how irrational my thought process was. RM seriously talked me off the ledge.

My hubby handled it perfectly this morning. He validated my fears. Had he NOT I would NOT be here. And fixed the entry hole. And search for hrs. We are not on stilts but we are elevated. We have snakes under the house ( Which I can handle..) and he said that they will eat the R words and the M words ( can’t say it)

He stayed with me ( He and his son..) until we were absolutely positive that it was gone. and no more left behind.
Like you I can remember ever time I have seen a rodent that you mentioned above. I also have a COMPLETELY SEVERE CASE of rodent phobia.. As did my twin.

You are the only one that I’ve talked to about it.. It’s NOT like eeeeeek there’s a mouse scary..that many experience..

It is beyond terrified.. ANXIETY Panic attacks..heart pounding.. can’t breathe.. and no matter how many times I hear..” They are more scared of you blah, blah, blah.. it doesn’tt NOT help..

RM.. I can NOT begin to tell you what your comments meant to me last night. It is because of you I deescalated.

I stayed awake in my office while he slept..when he woke up I was crying, but had used your words to communicate with him what he needs to do.

He acted upon it immediately and used very soothing words to calm me down. He spent 3 hrs. checking around , under and through the house..and ensured that there were no nests..

We are elevated.. not on stilts, but ( shit I don’t know what) hahha I forget..but underneath there are snakes.. ( which don’t scare me at all) and he said that the snakes eat the R Word and the M word around here.
