WHOA, so that first interview with Tom Cruise literally explained why he joined and remains in Scientology. He was one of those kids whose parents divorced and that informed nearly every decision they made in life. He talked about why he liked Seminary school, it’s basically because he’s in a comfortable, safe environment.

He will never leave Scientology. This is way too deep-seated for him to ever take the jump of doing something “uncomfortable.” That’s also why he doesn’t do any kind of movie outside of the action genre.
