Keep it up dummies... next time your home-grown terrorists will actually hurt someone. How many of you actually KNOW that these stories are trumped up exaggerations, but think it's funny to keep spreading them anyway?

Ignorance is forgiveable. Hate-mongering and fostering violence is not.

Yes, OT5, my book will show, based on my ten years of researching tennis instruction methodologies since tennis was invented, he invented MTM in 1968 which was years ahead of it's time and explains the foundation of Venus and Serena and so many great pros and coaches. He became a Scilon in 1978 and later became an icon in tennis instruction. Somehow I became considered by those in the know the "Obi Wan Kenobe" to his being "Yoda" and my mission (which I have not forsaken at this point given I have been given a gift...I'm not even a Star Wars fan, lol but the analogy works) is to look for the next Luke Skywalker of tennis coaching to pick up the legacy and carry it on to keep the sport of tennis growing in the USA. It's been dying or staying flat though the USTA cheats to claim otherwise but my book exposes that lie. The current leaders of USA tennis don't appear to have a clue how to teach tennis well enough to grow the game. In 2010 we had them convinced to go with MTM (the Force, lol). Then they reversed course to the "dark side." They ignore OT5's tennis teaching claims due to egos, not to LieIntology, though there are those who won't acknowledge him because they know he is a Scilon and now I see why they copy him without even acknowledging him a single bit. My book excerpts have sparked a huge debate in the tennis world and now I have to put my butt on the line and actually publish the entire thing in 2016.

Your observations are well thought out, which is why I like engaging and getting feedback from other people's viewpoints. Insurance companies and attorneys have likely caused the medical profession to overprescribe drugs or risk being liable in court. The fact that "labeling" is to the point that 1 in 8 children born in the USA are cited as being autistic (I don't believe that for a second, and I taught in one of the worst school districts in the USA) or that 75 percent of all adult women in the USA are on some form of prescription drug for anxiety or depression or whatever ....when I cited my outrage that if that govt study stat about women is true then we are in trouble in a meeting recently one gentleman cried out "you are right, what an outrage, that means 25 percent of women are untreated" (the women gave him a nasty stare, lol).

Isn't the tennis certifying you do based on OT5?

I was discussing, for I have no idea what reason, depression and anxiety with the vet tech yesterday at my vet's office. How anti-depressants and anti-anxiety meds are over prescribed and that ALL such conditions are not caused by chemical imbalances and that at times those are NATURAL states. There is a place in our area though that has publicly proclaimed in some of their literature how they gave a woman who lost her husband of 55 years anti-depressants SHORTLY AFTER HIS DEATH to help her CHEMICAL IMBALANCE. Um, no you dumb fucks. Which I pretty much told them at the time. If your partner of 55 years, 20 years, hell even 1 year, passes away, it is NATURAL to be depressed afterwards, even up towards a year or so---though it will be starting to lift. Of course if it's been 6 months or so and you are entirely unable to function then yes, go seek a doctor's help. But we were discussing how a lot of the issues could be dealt with via some counseling. I take valium as I have severe PTSD and when I told the psychiatrist I only wanted to go from 90mph to around 35mph he emphatically said "YES!!! You are one of the few patients who understand that!!" You NEED anxiety---not sky high as with severe PTSD---but anxiety, depression, etc are NATURAL and serve their purposes. You should never medicate out your feelings.

I don't feel, personally, that is due to psychiatrists. I feel it is more the interference of insurance companies refusing to pay for counseling as in the long run it's 'cheaper' to just give people pills than pay for counseling.

As I tell it, after my mom died, my dad remarried at 85 to a young chick. Elsie was 72. (Old family friend). Her husband had done all the driving, so she didn't learn how to drive until she was in her late 40s, and was a very tentative driver.

We have a higher percentage of geezers here. (I'm now one), and we also have a lot of present/former trophy wives, who are, as a fiend of mine puts it, "Nipped, tucked, and liposucked" who are trying to maintain their youth.and/or looking out for hubby #2, 3, or 4.

We have a lot of country, golf and tennis clubs that are de facto retirement communities, and that is in addition to Sun City Palm Desert, as well as all sorts of mobile home parks.

The number of young wives driving huge SUVs is significantly lower, but we have them.

Good for you - that's tough though! My mom-in-law had to do the same w/her dad. He'd hit 89 & had the same rounded corners (I literally LOL'd when I read that!). Thankfully when it was time, Dr checked his eyesight and made the call to DMV & said sorry, but no more. You're SO spot on w/the land yachts! And... We're neighbors! Riverside, here as of a year ago. The retirement community above was Leisure World - OC. The only thing as dangerous as above are the teeny platinum/silicone-d OC mom's of one child who trade in the teeny BMW mom & dad bought them for HS & college for an Escalade or similar yacht who have NO business driving ANYthing big, let alone on a truck frame! ;P
