I’ve never seen Primus b4, very excited. I like them but am not a super fan or anything.

I did see Perfect Circle though and it was amazing. It was an outdoor venue and when they took the stage all these super dark storm clouds just converged over us and everyone was like “oh shit wtf is goin on here!”. This was for their first album.

Ditto. I am seeing them in concert next month w/Primus. Hopefully they will play some new unreleased stuff. Last time I saw them was in 2001 for Lateralus.

It’s funny since, this time i went “in” with the full purpose of see what was going on, signed a contract posted myself and everyone was happy. Then the Freewinds events started and the Strait up and vertical idiocy. Watching those people close up, was unbelievable. I was living with a guy that just went “Clear” an pawned all he got to get to the next level on the bridge. He even dragged me in as test subject on his Meter. I almost imploded his mind because nothing worked as it should. He could not make sense out of those reads! Ha ha! You know – if you notice how your body is reacting during a real session, you can basically just mimic those reactions later.
It was a joke! all ready.

I also learned fast how to play the piano and almost ended up in the seaborg. I have luckily a very few regrets regarding, promoting $ientology or getting people involved. But i am sure that there are some who doesn’t speak up! just because.

I wasn’t in very long, but I caught on pretty quick on what they were looking for, so I gave them what they wanted. I was a very fast learner, consumed a lot of info quickly, and generated something of a buzz in that little mission. In the meantime, being a guy with no money, I was snatching and reading all sorts of tech materials$$$ that was supposed to be controlled, or, at least, not left out. That…and the Malko and Kaufman books which I got from the local library. The Mission even invested $$$ in me, paying for a couple of my courses.

As I look back, the turning point was the “aha” experience of recognizing LRH’s ethics as genuinely ugly. Then I discovered that I could be even more dishonest, clever and devious than them. In the end, I really didn’t like them, and hated what I was becoming.

On a personal level; I feel bad, to this day, for the then-franchise owner of the Mission. He made bad choices in risking his little fortune in scientology, and he should not have given me so much.

But they didn’t lose me completely, as I continued to squirrel on with the tech from unexpected places.This stuff would be for sale in the Penny-saver newspapers (this was pre-internet, and pre-Craig’s list). I picked up one book for cheap, thanks to a now-defunct radio station in Piqua OH. I grabbed Corydon’s book for cheap, with its replacement cover, on the cut-out table at a Walden bookstore. I continued to search for the same stuff – for free – on the internet. More than any other place on the net, I thank Tony and this forum for helping me to ultimately get free from this crap. Well…almost. Abreaction seems to work for me yet, the some of comm course still stick, and I am such a squirrel.
