So, for you, it wasn’t outside media or protestors that got you starting to doubt…it was what you observed happening internally within the “church” (tech/ethics outpoints, missing execs). Interesting. How were you able to shield your emerging doubts from being discovered on the e-meter or during the formal routing out process (assuming you routed out and not simply “blow”)? Did you read Debbie Cook’s letter before or after you left Scientology? Did it specifically inspire you to leave or was it more of a confirmation-after-the-exit sort of thing? Were you thinking of ways to share what you learned/observed with your Scientology friends/family or were you too scared to even think of taking that risk?

I’m also interested in hearing stories of how people left. There’s no one “right” way to leave…except to leave ALIVE. You got out and I’m glad. Hooray!
