I made a substantial contribution via his crowd funding five years ago. I now regret it. He has really pissed me off.

For some reason I just don’t believe any are under the radar because of fear of any kind, except maybe the ones born into Scn. who fear the unknown of outside the bubble.
The rump will probably look like other crazy fads still being taken up by losers. Like those who still believe in making gold out of lead or something. Losers looking for the secrets to be rediscovered. The fountain of youth. Gates to a lost world. That kinda ilk will always be around.

So… for the bulk of believers (leaving out the minority with no minds of their own) Scientology is suspended until Miscavige leaves the building. In the meantime, staff stand by while he plays with ‘Ideal Org’s’, flatters and fleeced people with more more money that sense.

I think this possibly underestimates the number of ‘under the radar’ members, who have long since lost the faith and only stay on because they are afraid of the consequences of openly leaving (e.g. disconnection).

Either way, this is a depressing waste of life and loyalty which could have been applied to a better cause.

In te end, it won’t make any practical difference – by the time Miscavige is deposed or dies Scientology will have declined to the point that it will collapse in the struggle for power that will inevitably follow (in fact, it has probably passed that point already).

I wonder what the ‘rump’ of Scientology will look like…

I actually don’t think Tech is important anymore to staff members. They seem to be playing the Noble card knowing the dwarf is a psycho and holding out until his realm is ended. Those die-hards belief Scientology really is the answer to everything and that they are the few among the many who stand by it and LRH. Real sad and real sick. Public relations is the entire game now with lavish buildings to attract whales. There is no Tech…just PR.

‘your case will come right in the next course, which is the result of new LRH research’ could be used.

Once Scientology had been around for a while, there were too many people who had already taken too many courses for this to work.

Miscavige switched to another, similar, tack:
‘the infallible ‘tech’ has been corrupted – everything will come right when you read the restored books and take the restored courses’.

Now they’ve used that one up, they appear to have completely run out of ideas. The promised of an advance ‘Status’ may be bringing in money – but that’s literally buying attention – it’s not even Scientology.

Yes, I think the scam not only revived that but promised Ideal Tech…”Standard Tech”. That seemed to be the answer as to why one was not really getting up the bridge or achieving any real benefits besides simple “belief”. Most of the money I spent was for the entire LRH library plus many donations to purchasing the building and straight donations to CLO call-in requests. Only $5,000 went to services for myself…the Purif (second time around, which I didn’t finish) and SRD (which I never started).
