Ditto–on the appreciation for the life I have now and wondering if I would be so grateful, if I hadn’t been so deceived and manipulated for so long. Would freedom from Scientology taste so sweet? The truth is, probably not. In a weird kind of way, that is the silver lining. Glad to hear you are happy and doing well.

We’ve all got our different stories, haven’t we, yet they’re all virtually the same. We all got hooked by things like the Code of Honour and manipulated up the Yin Yang.

The appreciation I have now for my new life is immense. I know happiness. It’s something I didn’t achieve while in scn. I wonder if it would have been this way if I hadn’t had that experience. It’s a scary thought. On the other hand, I didn’t know what I was getting into, did I? Nor did most of the rest of us. We’re out now, and that’s all that matters to me now. I know some people didn’t have it easy making the transition. I’m one of the lucky ones.
