I knew Ed, quite well. HE was the ehad of the Film and Video School at CalArts whe I was there.

I have often wondered if he’d known LRH… Strangely enough it has only been for the last few years that I I’ve known that he did this sort of illustration…

I recently moved to New Mexico from Florida and its amazing how there’s an actual landscape here, instead of some scrub and stagnant holes full of water which pass as a landscape. The only thing that gets me is the bugs. People say Florida has bugs, but its nothing compared to here.

All deserts aren’t created equal though, I’d lived in Southern Nevada when I was in the Service but it doesn’t look anywhere near as cool except for the lights in Vegas.

Hi. I’m Susan. I’ve been learning a lot about CO$ since I read Janet Reitman’s book in March of this year. Since then I’ve seen Going Clear, read Jenna Miscavige Hill’s book, watched a ton of videos online and I like to read the posts on this forum though I don’t get a lot of the “inside” stuff. : ) I feel like a bit of a troll signing on here to post but I truly support anti-scientology efforts b/c what makes me enraged are 1. child abuse and neglect, 2. abuse and neglect of persons with mental illness and/or addictions, and 3.the fact that this cult has flourished for so long. I just finished watching these two 2006 videos of Miscavige, Armstrong and Jentz (oops didn’t get that spelling right). It was really hard to watch!!! Armstrong and Jentz followed Miscavige and it was so creepy how much their own styles of speaking and being in front of a large group were just not there. Armstrong especially took on Miscavige’s public speaking mannerisms and at the same time she seemed numbed or drugged. Ironic b/c her topic was drug use prevention. So sad that Heber was up there talking about human rights when just the next year he was locked up in the hole. It was so obvious that all three speeches were written by the same person. I’m guessing that what I describe is already well known by many of you. I Google search on “Scientology in then news” just about every day waiting for the next big chunk of the wall to been chipped at broken away. Thank you for such interesting posts! Susan
