Don’t forget the Purif and Ethics, also downstairs and on the other end of the building. If I remember correctly, Ethics was down another level near the staff dining area.

Funny! I personally have never experience haunting in that area. It is the lobby and there is much foot traffic through there, so who knows?
Other areas of CC, I think so, but who really knows? (The room above the restaurant on the 5th floor has had some strange stories of haunting)

I would certainly be willing to chip in to help Courtney be short-lived (though, as usual, she’s doing most of the heavy-lifting herself (the rest she is paying to hve done to her).

You can have all the patience you need. Know there is a community cheering for you.

My one suggestion – try each day to find a little time to find some peace – in order to balance out the stress. Quiet moments of piece can be a quick drive to notice the beginning of fall through the changing colors of leaves. Or walking in a garden for a few minutes to notice the daily changes that we usually don’t notice and thus miss the quiet beauty of nature. Or what ever brings you peace.

That said – here’s the old 90s cliche “You Go Girl!”

Any child raised in the SO or Scientology has little “landmines” in their education. We were both no exception from the Flag OOT days. I didn’t have to deal with the slavery that was work-study, thank God. But there were many facts you had to accept or be sent to ethics on (yes, they were quick to send anyone who had a valid point of logic to the Ethics section at Flag in 1996) which weren’t “facts”, but total made-up bullshit.

For example, in the Study Tapes, LRH derides Einstein’s theory of relativity, and states that Einstein was only considering the speed of WHITE light, and that a prism proved that light at different wavelengths (color spectrum) traveled at different speeds.

Having gotten into astrophysics later, this was a pretty clever trap for anyone who didn’t know wavelengths can travel at the same speed, but different frequencies. As a supervisor, I remember a number of students who got bogged down on this “clever point” because, well, it wasn’t true. Especially any student with a high-school science education.

Bizarrely enough, education is considered riddled with “false data” and discredited within Scientology. Most likely because anyone highly educated in the sciences would see right through his bullshit, and walk out.

I’m sorry to hear about the difficult times you and your family are enduring. Just remember there are a LOT of people around here that are behind you. When you are a Bunkerite, you are never truly alone. 🙂

I like your final goal. Like you, I was raised in Scientology. Indeed, I went to Delphi with your wife and Marc Headley. I was regged to donate several thousand dollars. Either my dad gave the money, or on one occasion I called my grandmother (not a Scientologist) to give $3,000.

I share your sentiment, I’m much happier with myself outside of Scientology, and I can look back on my upbringing in a positive light. I knew many great people. I wish I could communicate to current Scientologists, in such a way that they could see (like we have) that life beyond Scientology is quite rewarding. Instead I’ve hit the immediate filter that we must have overts, withholds, or we’ve suffered some misapplied use of the tech. In a funny way, it’s like taking down the Berlin Wall to find a way through to current Scientologists.

In the mean time, live an enjoyable life.
