Bless him! He knew who his forever family were. You couldn’t have tried any harder to locate his original family, either.

He is great, hardly seemed to be bothered by it at all.
Thanks, he is a pretty cat, very energetic and mostly friendly. I love his markings. I said we would not get another cat after the third Abyssinian we had died. It was just too upsetting and each one had it’s own unique personality.
One day we came home and he was just there at our step. The kids played with him for a few minutes but that was it. We went away for a few days and came back and he was under the step. I wouldn’t feed him as he was quite likely someone else’s cat. Night after night he was there to greet us and eventually I saw how skinny he was and eventually went and got some food. He ate and ate, a few days later we invited him in the house and the rest is history. We have no idea where he came from, searched all lost pet notices, nothing.
He just didn’t give up and despite plenty of people all around us, just fussed over us. He didn’t have any fleas or worms and was very healthy when the vet looked at him. He seemed to have decided to live with us, just took us a while to realize!

I have physical health issues, I have peace of mind, & I have booted a few folks from my life. I use I instead of we for that we is gone, not really a team, so I am not trying to work things as a part of that team. I am doing great. It is a great day.
