Have to disagree with your assessment of US public schools. I am also a graduate of US public schools and think you are projecting your own inability to think critically away from its source, your own personality…… Don’t mean to be hypercritical, but blaming a school system, or your family, or not having a family, or being idealistic doesn’t explain why you, out of all the graduates of your school ended up there. There was something you wanted from them. ?..respect? Belonging? Security? I had to work thru college too, but I was always able to see them coming a mile away. So easy for cults to suss out the people who never question…I know all colleges have libraries, surely before joining up you did some research? TBH in any objective analysis you have to take both sides of the argument, the for’s and against. This is where some of the commentary from Tony, Mark, and Mike gets as bad as the BS from the CO$. These guys need to be objective. Its obvious the CO$ wont implode soon, there are still too many members, remember there are some crazy churches in the US with <2k members and still going. People on the outside know its all BS but if you want people on the inside to listen you have to tone down the language and show how much better its to be out e.g. like what happened with East Germany

No problem. Beatles were a HUGE gateway for me. But I’ve always been one to seek out the more adventurous side in music and other things so I don’t get completely bored. I’m a believer in that “high risk, high reward” thing, especially with art. As you may have noticed, music means more to me than I could possibly express in words, so boredom is just not an option 🙂

I was generally aware of them, just not their music. I don’t know why, but I don’t listen to music that much anymore, so my tastes are still back with the Rolling Stones, Beatles , etc, I like it on the radio driving, even new stuff. I am more open to listening since this website features it so often. Thanks for the links, I will listen.

Hey, btw, I noticed that you mentioned that you were “unaware” of Rush to some degree.
