OT–well, kind of–so, if I had only a few minutes interacting with a scientologist, what would you recommend as the most persuasive thing I could say to them? Something to make them think about leaving the cult, something eye-opening, something other than an insult (unless that seems like the most persuasive thing!)? My husband and I travel a lot to major cities and we try to find an Org while we’re there. The last time we were in Portland, OR and I asked if they had seen Going Clear yet, but they just laughed me off. Anyway, I figure if we’re going to make a point of “visiting” (not taking a personality test or giving out our contact information), it should be useful. Our next trip will be to Salt Lake City (the oddest city in the country in my opinion!). Ok, I’m rambling…would love advice! Thanks!

I went to those places on 2014 – for an eclipse.

We had so little time in each place.

It is not cheap to live in those places, either.
The locals are mostly employed by hotel, or their business catering to tourists

I loved being there. I would love to return.

It takes a change in mindset to live in some of these areas – island living
