I want to apologize to you for saying the things I said to you to you that day..it was a bad day for me,I felt I was being ganged up on (and not just in the bunker)..and I took it out on you. I hope you forgive me. Can we start over?..I sincerely apologize to you..It was just a bad day for me. I know you are good person. It’s bothered me ever since I typed it out.Its totally not like me to say things like that,and I’ve thought how shitty it was,to do that ever since that day… I’m sorry. 🙁

I’m out of town and kind of off grid right now. Briefly I will say
that I was in the ‘inner circle’ in Toronto from 1981-1995 and spent
much of my time day-to-day with Moy. He died couple of years after I
left. The only one who owes me an apology is him and I wouldn’t have
expected one from him.
I have no idea which location you have been
but things got pretty watered down away from him. So you could say I was
involved and heavily influenced by a ‘cultic’ leader. In the last year I
was there I came across Steven Hassan’s book. Moy was behaving more
aggressively. I knew I had to get out. One of the comments he often made
“If you don’t learn directly from me/if you don’t donate $/if you
leave, you will get sick and die.” There was questionable stuff
happening with money. Moy had some behaviours that didn’t jive with his
celibate taoist monk.
After I left, I read every book on cults and
mind control/undue influence – Margaret Singer, Lifton et al. Look,
bottom line, nobody has come out and claimed it’s a cult, but MANY
‘fringe’ members in Toronto came for classes and rolled their eyes and
whispered. I felt like I was taking a huge risk saying anything hrre,
but I had hoped that I was doing so in a fairly safe place. I must say I
was quite upset by your reaction. As I said, this group is (now) benign
compared to scientology, but I am not someone just tossing out some
frivolous claim. Many people were severely harmed by Moy. I am glad he’s
dead.

It’s not just one death. The sauna is a nightmare. They operate it at temperatures that exceed the manufacture’s safe levels and a recent study showed a surprising percentage of 30 somethings have latent small aneurysms in their brains. Stimulant use increases the likelihood of this. The last thing such a person needs is to be locked in a dangerously hot sauna for hours. There have been many deaths and many who have collapsed and been left unattended in their rooms. It is also a medically unsound treatment for drug addiction as less than 2% of “toxins” are removed through sweat. The completely bogus nature of the program is, in and of itself, responsible for an untold number of otherwise preventable deaths.
