this is from the blogger about narcanon discussed in yesterdays post. she has 2 fb pgs. after screen capturing those today, i went to reddit n heres the first post I came across. She’s quite a handful. 😛 When I wake up in the middle of the night I’ll turn over and she’s staring at me with her head resting on the other pillow and a look that says “You’d better not think you’re going anywhere right now.”

I take out the trash and come back in all of 3 minutes and she’s acting as though she thought I’d abandoned her forever and ever. As if I’d abandon the home that’s paid off, with nothing but my keys and a bag or two of trash. Silly Molly-pantalones.

XD. I had a cat that rolled over on command. Everyone was amazed, but it was just as you say – link the behavior to the phrase. Such a cutie pie. Belly rubs to your pup!

It’s good for entertaining guests – once she gets finished barking at them for not sitting at a distance from me that she approves of and being very very still as she verifies whether or not they intend to do me harm…or speak to me…or breathe too heavily. When I brought her home from the shelter as a puppy I noticed that she had a tendency to roll onto her back around me which I then worked on encouraging her to do with the phrase “show me your boobies” and reinforced with treats. My neighbors probably think I’m bonkers with how often they hear me saying that with the windows open throughout the house. I imagine they think I’m talking to myself. 😉

She won’t stay or sit (unless maybe I’m sitting on her :P) or even come when I call her name – my fault for always adding -pants; princess von floofy-floofer; she who shall be ruler of the universe; etc. when her official name on her license and vet records is Molly Mae (all my pets get first and middle names for some reason). Hard to come when called when your name is always different I suppose. 😉
