Yeah, I got in in ’76 so I got to know a lot of people. I didn’t escape so much as just backed into the mist. Still UTR but very definitely out. The PEOPLE of Scientology aren’t these big bad people that need to be demonized (not that you are, just in general) as some people do.

Being mad at the people of Scientology is just like being mad at the people who followed Jim Jones. For whatever reason, they can’t see. If they could, they wouldn’t like it one bit. But they are convinced that they will ‘lose their eternity’ if they look at anything critical. It’s a fascinating riddle to solve; how to get them to look past the idea that they can’t look or else they will be lost in eternity.

Got news for my friends. “Eternity is eternal.” They are going to have it or not. Most of my friends are pretty smart so, if they could look, they would see and if they could see, they could figure it out.

So, like Johnny Appleseed, I just keep planting seeds and waiting for the fruit to drop. 😉

Yeah, that’s what I mean about Gavin – totally taking on Davie’s demeanor. Maybe they’re related. I think his wife, Alex, is going to have her fill of him in the not too distant future. She’s shut him down a couple of times when he tried to treat her like an underling. She wasn’t havin’ any of it. It registered with Gavin, too. Good on her.

Gavin Potter looks a bit like David. He ihas a title that associates him with the Fleecewinds and goes on the scientology lecture circuit regging people for more money

I didn’t know him personally but he was around CC a lot and, from what I saw of him, he was a little bit of a rich kid but nice and friendly. I was startled when I saw the antagonistic, arrogant, covert Tommy.

Gavin Potter is another one I worry about. Young, Charming, charismatic but taking on the “DM-eanor”. I’ve known him since he was a teen.

PS: The meaning of LHD escapes me. What does that mean?
