But you just know that somehow, in some way, that Davey boy is going to make it work for him. Marty had written on his blog (I forget the exact writing) shortly after Going Clear was released I think, about how anything that brings any attention to $cientology, whether the rest of the world believes it is good PR or bad PR, ultimately works in a way that affords $cientology (i.e. COB) some sort of gain, or “win” I suppose (I was never a $cientologist and do not really know the lingo very well).

Davey’s already thrown his father under the bus and was ready to watch him die. It does not get colder than that!!! I can only hope that Ronnie might hold up some tiny morsel of hope that his son would see how corrupt he has become and turn from it. But even as his son has become so utterly corrupt and openly, diabolically, wicked something about it all causes me to still think that perhaps Ronnie could somehow find that single speck or crumb of goodness, or something that he could confuse to be a speck or crumb of goodness, about his kid. Some little something that makes him want to plead with his son rather than choke him to death.

Maybe everyone who has children of any age, particularly those with infants and young, judicially innocent toddlers and such, can relate to the idea of always wanting to have the highest of high hopes and kindest of kind thoughts reserved especially for their kids. At some point in that little boy’s life, Ronnie had to think that way, didn’t he? I’m not naive, but I do sometimes wonder if I err by having a tad too much hope or respect for the species known as humans. There seem to be lots of great people in the world and this site is sure proof of that! So I can’t just throw all hope aside.

Ah, well, perhaps I am just digressing and should wrap up here with one final thought. If Ronnie Miscavige cannot find that speck of love for his boy, then folks – there just ain’t none.
