It took me forever to be able to read what happened as the net service over here has been about as effective as Scientology at delivering on its basic promises.

it sounds like you acted like a normal, grouchy, imperfect human being (and much nicer than I would have been, I fear), and they were completely thrown by:

a) The flaccid humiliation wrought by their ‘Confront and Shatter’ ‘tech’ fueled false confidence and folderol, going limp in the face of the titanic power of: A normal woman trying to have a smoke after a tiring day. They just aren’t used to dealing with people with no lie to sell or reveal.

b) The visible proof of the interest wrought by Tony, Paulette, his book, her story, and the fact that you were all clearly NOT psychotic evildoers only there to pick up your BigPharma paychecks.

c) The abject failure of the sort of plan that probably worked wonders for her when she was a freshman in high school. Selling pharmaceuticals as an ex-cheerleader was Plan B, but that’s out now that she’s got Hubbard Blubbering in her ear and Davey nipping at her ankles.

She’s still got good skin, but for how long? Those searching seances in the morning mirror are gettting longer and longer as the voice inher head won’t stop repeating, is this it? Is this IT? I met Patrick in 1990 when he was directing and starring in “Agenda for Murder”. Both he and Peter won an Emmy that year! (I think it was that year Peter gave everyone a certificate on a plaque as a thank you for his Emmy!) I remember Peter really respecting Patrick and his opinion, but I didn’t have too much interaction w/ him.

Patrick came back on Columbo in 1998 to direct and star in “Ashes to Ashes”. I was on a different series that year, but one of my girlfriend’s was Patrick’s secretary, and she Adored him!!! 😀
