My work email was hacked this year by someone who was able to break into my account and change the reply-to address, so that all email responses would go to the hacker while the sender thought they were going to me. This is called an email address spoofing attack. This happened right around the time I was declared. How would I know if there was a possible connection to the cult? The very first thing I thought of was that the cult was behind it. I tucked that thought away so I wouldn’t dwell on it. Now my concern has been resurrected. Is there anything I can do?

The criminal organisation known as the “church” of $cientology may use “cut-out” law firms and so on, but surely the perp confessing and getting a slap on the wrist isn’t the end of it? How can the authorities be sure that the perp didn’t get a payout to keep other crimes hidden?
