I still would like to see the Garcia’s challenge the cherch on the first amendment. I still struggle to understand how any corporation/religion/institution’s first amendment rights should be held in higher regard than that of an individual. Surely this was not the intention of the founding fathers of the US when the constitution was drawn up? There are so many legal cases in Scientology history which would make prime targets to start challenging the legal system on this. It would be interesting to see what happens. I wish them all the best of luck and I hope they find a way to win and crack open that floodgate a little further.

In reply to Mighty Korgo of Teegeeack. I don't think Lisa Marie would have ever been a scientologist had Elvis lived. Elvis hated scientology, saw right through it as a scam. After visiting the celebrity centre and being schmoozed he came out and said "they just want my money". Anyway, he would never have lasted in scientology. He loved fun too much and he had the Memphis Mafia and no-body was gonna get in the way of that. Priscila, well she is another story. I think she would still have ended joining. As for Lisa Marie, well I hope the stories about her leaving with her family (i.e. her kids) are true. Granma I think is plugged into that KoolAid.

Lyanna Smith and Erick Racedo – my personal feeling is that it would be criminal no matter what high ideals you may have to contribute to this wedding fund. If they really love each other this is the time they should reassess their lives. Just like many other young people who have to start out in life (some with very high student loan debts) they now need to prioritize. They need to get or make jobs for themselves that can properly take care of them and any kids they have. If they had a real crisis I would consider giving them money, but for a wedding, not so much. Sorry both, but weddings just aren’t important enough because you will probably be pressed to have a very cheap scientology wedding and the rest will go to the “collection plate”. Anyway, anyone else notice that weird little comment from Erick about him having no problems because of his g/f…………….wow, that’s gonna be a wake-up call when those problems “suddenly” but definitely unexpectedly resurface.
