That is absolutely disgusting and makes my blood boil— Good on Tony for not giving them the satisfaction go changing a whit of what he does, but the is just so low (and useless—as I said, has it ever worked?)
Tangentially— I am a member of the exscn site, but still didn’t have the right to see the post.. Any ideas why?

One day, a family came to my desk in registration to route onto some staff course. The father told me that they had given everything they had to the church and they all joined the SO. He was pretty freaked out because, although they had been promised family housing, this “housing” consisted of being assigned the crawl space underneath the staff house on Carondelet Street. So this family of four had to crawl under the house and bed down in the dirt.

At that time, there were no Ideal Orgs. The organizations were pretty seedy, for the most part. I had such a long schedule that there was no time to even do laundry. I would take a bath in my underwear so that my bra and other unmentionables would get cleaned at the same time I bathed the old bod.

One fellow staff member wrote a “success story” stating that he was so grateful for the chance to work himself into exhaustion!

not. My favorite cat died in my arms in what was the single worst night

My vet did tests on the surviving cat, and told me there was no question they had been deliberately targeted.

Of course, I can’t prove who did it or why, which is why I have never
written about it. But even though I live with three cats, I refuse to
change the description at the website, because as far as I am concerned,
Hei Mao will always be in the Bunker with me. She was the one who
always sat, curled up against me while I wrote.

So yeah, four cats.

I have absolutely no doubt of that, Dodo.

I’ve had some little problems, but for the moment I am chalking it up to paranoia as the cult has bigger fish o fry than little ol’ me 😉
