Agreed. And recall that old biblical thingie: Judge not, lest ye be judged. Even taking a shot at Hana and “deciding” what level of “repayment” she must make is no less prejudicial than a scio comm ev. I was in a long time. It took me time to figure it all out and leave. I did what I could to “make up the damage.” Some may never come out of it. I think it’s called “being human” and judging others is a sad part of that, too.

LRH wanted desperately for people to believe in him. All those costumes he wore, were just means to activate the “belief” button on people, to re-enforce in people the belief in the him, is like saying “see I’m playing the part , therefore it must be true, you must believe” oh the trick, he was an old trick.

In reply to Mark Foster. I hear ya. I've read a lot about cults and coercive persuasion since leaving. It has made a difference to me. Once I began to understand the system; that it was designed to make me feel the way I did, it was a relief. "Free Will" is a relative term and is a fragile thing. It flourishes in an environment that supports it, but it can be suppressed. It can be taken away from you without you even realizing it.
