I just finished the full Vanity Fair article you cite re Jeremy Blake and Theresa Duncan … tremendously disturbing … might have never happened except for working with Beck … not to blame him, but some kind of ideas were transferred into her head … and these aren’t details a person could invent out of thin air … and still match up with so many of the typical dirty Co$ tactics …
Two clearly talented good people thrown away possibly by the terror spawned from Hub’s bizzare mind … just two of so many mourned … and who knows how many, altogether who swerved off the path … maybe because yet another stranger whispered ‘why don’t you just kill yourself?’
It’s 7-2-17 now, and a lot is pissing me off right now (you may imagine who and why … I’ll just say he’s Orange) … and I’ve also been steamed but fascinated since I’ve been looking deeper into Scientology these past months thanks to Leah Remini’s expose’ work, and Chris Shelton’s logical videos …
For some reason this trebles my anger … a Google search revealed that it was bandied about that Theresa Duncan was a paranoid nutcase ,,, dozens of articles at the time … nearing defamation, a shame, as they sure seemed to be getting the Miss Lovely treatment …
At least Vanity Fair is taking the subject a lot more seriously now.

You never saw them before, really? Cool. I wouldn’t call them masterpieces, the photo quality has a lot to be desired. I’m still learning. I put them up on this blog of mine, the link is below. In reply to Sunny. How difficult is it once you break free to acclimate yourself to normal daily life? All of the ex- members seem to show so much clarity and appear to realize the unhealthy hold that the COS had over them once they broke loose. I would think years and years of the treatment you received would cause, at the very least, PTSD or depression, but the few people I have observed in Going Clear seemed to be adjusting quite well.

Jason Beghe is the best! I loved listening to him speak out on youtube! I finally woke up after 32 yrs in the “church”. I was always told not to look at anything negative on the internet regarding scientology . I just figured the negativity was from a handful of people who never read anything from LRH and just wanted to make some noise.
I had just paid for the “new” objective course since the first one I did years prior was no longer being used so I went online searching to see what other Scientologist who did the service thought about it .. I began to see people like Jason Beghe, Leah Remini, Pat Haggins and others that had left the “church” and decided to listen to their stories with an open mind… Well what an eye opener . I began to watch and listen to other Sea Org members and their stories and I could see there was a pattern here. The more I researched the more I woke up . It all made sense now.
Thank you to all who had the courage to speak out.

Jason is always funny, just naturally. However, in “Going Clear” each time I saw it, people roared a few different
times at things he said. He’s excellent in the documentary. 🙂
