Perhaps we all need to re-remind our children/grandchildren of “Stranger Danger” long beyond the point when we all thought it was no longer needed!

I would not have thought there was anybody left in this day and age naïve enough to fall for this kind of crap. Especially someone who had attended college.
Were there other problems with this particular young person, I wonder?

As someone with a relative who received a purple heart and a bronze star, lying about it is offensive to the real heroes.

It is a silly game. It is not unique to Scientology. To illustrate: try to express Cheerfulness with the physiology of a person in Grief. My kids love playing it, it is silly. I caught someone doing it but we dare say nothing because you might be labeled as a “joker and degrader” not that it was intended but just having to spend time in Ethics trying to explain and answer questions. Time is too valuable and once used you don’t get it back. I hope I have explained it to your satisfaction.

Mr. Free, who does quite a bit of work with congressional staff, suggests identifying the congress members representing Clearwater and Hemet, and meeting with their staff to see if there might be interest in Congressional hearings. The can hold hearings without legislation, of course – they do it all the time. They have called tobacco execs, auto execs, etc to testify.

It looks like Hemet is represented by Raul Ruiz, MD, who is on the Veterans Affairs. He is a Democrat and has set up free clinics in the area, so he may be aware of the medical abuses by the cult there – use of free clinics, failure to treat injured SO members, etc. http://ruiz.house.gov/biography/
