Well that is very interesting that you still have your e-meter. So it still helps you then? Well at least you are getting your money’s worth. I have heard Qi-gong is a very helpful practice as well. So I noticed from your responses to other commenters that you hold people accountable for the “opinions” they post here. Why are you such a stickler about that? Just curious. People give their opinions at this forum all the time. Were you ever on a debate team? Hopefully, the Bunker gets to hear your story soon. You appear to sound like someone who can really contribute here. I’m sure other posters here would love to hear what you have to say.

My views on religion. Your meditation sounds good. I’m fine with anyone doing whatever they want. I’ve recently gotten interested in Qigong and Falun gong exercises and have been messing around with that.
I had an exteriorization experience before i ever got into scientology, which sort of woke me up to the reality of the spiritual side. I’ve pretty much done all of the scientology auditing, L’s, OT levels, and got some wins out of all of it. Learned to solo-audit
and use the meter after i left, so i can audit myself whenever i want, but no particular
need to at this time.

Yes, i have friends who have also left that i’ve shared my experience with.
Haven’t felt like putting my story out there publicly. As far as my views on religion, i had an exteriorization experience before ever getting into Scientology. That sort of woke me up to the idea of a spiritual reality existing apart from the body. At this point i’m not really searching. I’ve done pretty much what there is to do for auditing – the L’s, the OT
levels. Don’t really have any upsets or travails in life that i need to fix.
And if i feel like it i can get my meter out and poke around.
Religion is fine with me. Anyone can do whatever they want.
I feel like i got to where i wanted to get to when i started scientology.
At that time i was pretty messed up and miserable and needed to get some relief.

Oh I see. Well, I see that you are a new poster. Besides the day that you were “interacting” with the other commenters, do you ever feel inclined to share your experiences within the church with Tony or have you been able to find a soft place to land amongst other SP’s? What are your views now regarding religion?

OK, I discovered it in my late 20’s. I generally keep an eye on the bunker, but i’m not an activist of any kind, i’m pretty bored with it all.

As far as auditing being hypnosis, i would agree it can be, if done under duress, which often is the case in the church. And for that matter, any communication, if done under duress, can have an hypnotic affect.

In my opinion and experience, auditing does not inherently create an hypnotic effect,
any more than does a pleasant conversation between friends.

While I certainly disdain the CO$, I do have to admit that I did have some wins on my Life Repair auditing. The wins were very short-lived and with the money spent, I do not think it was worth it. I was able to learn that auditing is basically a form of hypnotism. The wins to me are not real as I get longer effects with meditation. I won’t debate over the semantics of what it’s called but I understand it’s allure and also why the CO$ frowns upon their members taking psychology courses. Were you raised in Scientology or did you discover it on your own? And have you been a long time reader of the Bunker?

Hi, well, i don’t take an extreme view in either direction. My leaving the organization was from recognition that organizationally they are corrupt with Miscavige being a criminal. As far as my own experience with auditing – having say had a win or improvement in my life from it, it was what it was. I’ve found a touch assist to help in recovery from illness.
If something works for you it works, why discard it because the organization is dysfunctional? What is your view, did you find any of the
tech useful? did you have any wins with it? Do you now think those wins were not real? If you did experience benefit from it while in, e.g. auditing,
have you tried it since you left? if so, did you still get benefit?

When you say “believe” in the tech, I was never a believer as in taking something on faith, I would try it as an experiment, and the result was whatever i experienced. That’s still my approach. Since leaving i’ve learned to use the meter and how to solo-audit and had some interesting experiences with it.

No problem! So are you completely out like deprogrammed or are you a firm believer in the tech?
