Turning the hose on you, IIRC, is assault. At this point, when you show up with your Guy Fawkes mask, it’s like cockroaches exposed to light.

If there’s a prohibition on washing down the sidewalks or soaking your stuff because of drought, that could be a ticket-able offense, but I think you’d have to document it by a photograph or a video.

The hide tech is the same that the sea org used when we demonstrated in Hollywood. Your mask is like a cross to someone possessed. It repels clams.

They just wash away the chalk tech, and usually they wait for us to leave first. I think turning the hose on us directly would constitute assault. They did menace our beautiful shrine to Lisa McPherson (but we fixed it). I think even soaking our stuff is probably illegal. In SF, the cops are on our side, so they are generally pretty well behaved – no bullbaiting – mostly they just try to avoid making eye contact, and hide (-8!) inside the building.
