Interesting point about Duggan being 70; he’s going to drop his meat body eventually. Which begs the question- what do his kids thing about $ci? Unless he leaves all his money to $ci in his will (in which case the kids get zilch), I would think that his (probably spoiled) kids are getting angry that he’s pissing his(their) money away for dumbass trophies instead of planning for his kids’ futures.

Nah, the only thing the government is good at is collecting taxes. If $ci loses it’s non-profit status, the IRS will be all over $ci sucking up money.

I use High-Logic’s ‘Font Creator’ (‘FontLab Studio’ is just too complicated and expensive; the ‘Photoshop’ of font software). It’s not that high-end really—more like a digital version of join-the-dots than anything else—and you’re almost always altering an existing font (Font Creator even provides you with a helpful set of basic outlines when you start a new project) or tidying up glyphs that have been traced in from scans of drawn designs. The only really complex part is the encoding (Windows vs. Mac, unicode vs. glyphs) basically the order the letters are stored in once you’ve finished a font. But now there’s a single standard in the “.otf” font format, even fancy features like ligatures (where typing in fi, fl, ff, ffl prints out automatically as one character) are much simpler.
