It’s an incredible movie, as an ex dreaming galactic serious (nonsense) Scientologist, I saw absolutely how the 5th Element did “us” so much better.

In fact, as a comparison, that movie is a great example of a movie that I’d include in several weeks ago Jon Atack’s list of books and movies for members to see, to get them comparing.

That movie hits too close to home, is a really excellent comparison showing Scientology’s sins of omission.

Chuck how dare you insult The Fifth Element, by comparing it to Scientology. Yes their priesthood had finished in hat movie but they were actually right and had a technology that really did save all mankind and he universe. Scientology just pretends to do that. They didn’t take anyone’s money in that movie, or rip families apart, or force people to have abortions, or brainwash anyone. They just got the job done. That is real salvation. You and I both know the absolute darkest side of Scientology from our time together on the RPF. Zorg (BRILLIANTLY played by Gary Oldman) and his empire would be a great example of the church and DM. Tiny, arrogant, greedy man who does everything to extreme all for the money. Frankly I hope DM goes out the same way Zorg does in that movie.

Getting the concept of a “static” as Hubbard used the term is difficult, because it implies that the person is co-CREATING everything they experience. It turns the idea of life upside down (on purpose.)

The idea is that everything a person wants to change can be changed with enough auditing…because the person himself (as a static) is the source of everything anyway…they just don’t know it yet. The idea of an “OT” being cause over life…including matter, energy, space and time…is theoretically because when they finally return to “native state” all the inhibitions and disabilities they are unknowingly creating will disappear and they will once again be all-powerful.

The thetan (static) can be everywhere and anywhere at will (supposedly)…only bodies and other MEST stuff needs to be moved around and “located” in space.

Don’t get too twisted up over it…it is a deliberate trap…unfalsifiable….and also unprovable. It is Confusion Technique at it’s finest.
