I actually agree with you on the lessons learned. I merely brought that up because I thought that is what YOU were saying in these comments:

Living as long as I have…and studying as much as I have…I no longer believe in lessons that have to be learned. I learn in each moment and my main intention is to “witness” what I am experiencing, moment by moment. I believe in experience and living fully, experiencing all feelings. Sad comments all depend again upon perception. They are just feelings. It’s none of my business how someone else experiences the world. Talking about duality and illusion is just that…talking. We each do the best that we can in each moment. This will be my last comment on this site. Best! KB

I hear ya. There are two playing fields here and I agree with you most certainly that ultimately duality is an illusion. So, on this playing field, where does that get us”?

Well, in keeping with your very good reasoning, who is also to say what lessons are learned by an individual while viewing the world in the way in which he/she does and so commenting on those beliefs? What lessons are learned by another individual reading said comments?

The arguments are circular. It is ideal to be able to step back, so to speak, and view it all from an exterior viewpoint but after awhile (while we are still involved in this duality game) that can become boring and unfulfilling. 🙂

In my belief, “God” isn’t made in the image and likeness of man which most of the comments related to my initial post seem to present including yours. Of course, if I thought that I could be of assistance to someone, I would take the action. In taking the action, I’d be doing it for myself as much as for the other person.

It makes sense not to take advice from someone who doesn’t have good advice to share. In this world, we do have the right/wrong, good/bad, positive/negative viewpoint to which you allude. My belief is that “God” is neutral and just experiences rather than judges. That may be why good people experience horrible things. It’s just an experience for the soul. AND I don’t believe that anyone has a clue what anyone has to endure in order to learn.

The point of my previous post was that “the mind” thinks it knows a lot more than it does. It makes up stories. My mind made up all the stories that I told in the previous post as well as in this one.

I’ve chosen my beliefs. Are they right? They are for me. None of my business if they are right for you. As stated before, no one (including you and me) knows anything.

These posts are just entertainment…the mind ruminating, making up stories, believing the stories, and then criticizing and being rude to others for their beliefs.
