What other tax exempt “charity” as non profit corporations are called in England, would need such “staff contracts”, gag orders, a crowd of 800 dollars/hour attorneys and all the security and private investigators. It is a gradual indoctrination that eliminates your freedom and transforms it into total compliance with the organisation, and total deification of L. Ron Hubbard. The only thing Hubbard didn’t fail is making millions of dollars and selling people “a piece of sky”. I wonder what he thought when Miscavige withdraw all assistance and went gambling with the whole bunch, while he was unable to speak and dying in the Blue bird motor home in Creston.
You are right Swift, in Scientology as in Hubbard there has always been 1) what they say: the PR image, acceptable truth or “shore story” and 2) What they are hiding and don’t want you to see because it is rather unacceptable to wogs or exes and of course it would lead to criminal prosecution.

Some of the ex INCOMM programmers, Johan Berlin in particular, give incredible insight into the mentality. I too wrote of much of the history I saw and lived, I was INCOMM staff for a couple years in the middle of my mistaken total dupe staffer Sea Org career.

i read this too, but how does this mean that cruise even KNEW about any of this? the whole mudslide story ruining cruise and kidman’s fun was because the mudslide ruined the field of flowers and what not that cruise had said he wanted to run thru and play with kidman in… i don’t think cruise would have a clue that such a off hand remark was actually trying to come true in scientolgists building such a field for him and kidman.. consequently he wouldn’t have any idea about any mudslide ruining it…. and of course NO ONE would have told him i don’t think either “mr.cruise well we were creating that field you wanted for you and nicole but it got ruined by the recent mudslide, blah, blah, blah”.. and so therefore i don’t think cruise would even be aware that miscavige punished everyone for a unforeseeable act of nature..you have to remember cruise has been BEYOND butt kissed by this cult for decades. he is presented that EVERYTHING 24/7 is always perfect and good and well run by his “faith” whether it’s the people, the base, their buildings, ALL OF IT….
