I am trying to remember who Scientology’s lawyer was, but I think it was Clayton Ruby. Regardless, they had a celebrity lawyer. Can you imagine what it cost the cult to pay a lawyer like that to argue every little aspect of the law. Imagine how many people had to sit on useless courses and receive useless auditing. Imagine how many staff members could have eaten a meal a better meal or gone to a movie if they didn’t have to pay Ruby to make that stupid argument.
