The basic problem Hub – and now DM – always had was that in a totalistic relationship you promise perfection of self and group and CANNOT deliver. So you must after gaining complete submission to authority shift your goals- from the counterfeit dreams and false promises you start with – to attacking ” others” that are labeled as inferior . This is seen in the Nazis , the KKK and many totalitarian movements. Hub knew he could not make any real lasting improvements to people BUT he could identify SPs and low-tones and implant thousands of embedded commands ( a hypnotic technique ) that show some as evil and he used these commands with tremendous repetition and variation to strengthen their hidden hold on a Scientologists mind. They are to make a Scientologist into a stimulus response slave that loves Hub blindly and attacks ALL critics without the ability to think . The method is intended to make considering criticism impossible and for a Scientologist to trigger post-hypnotic commands and attack the attacker ( Ad Hominem ) and ruin utterly and remove quietly and without sorrow. It is to make a Scientologist into a compassion- less , remorseless genocidal killer for Hub . There are thousands of elements of doctrine that overwhelmingly establish this pattern . If you study cults and mind control extensively the intent becomes obvious. Hub hated humanity and was willing to kill to enslave us . DM has no other choice to keep Scientology working but to find and attack targets. Otherwise cultists see the lack of promised results and regain critical thinking and walk away . The implantation is vital to shut down critical thinking with logical fallacies held in place by loaded language as a permanent substitute. Hub used Ad Hominem as a permanent solution to critical thinking – in the minds of his victims . This is key to slave retention . The hypnotic gains may fade but the cognitive restructuring is held in place by the slaves own thoughts . I will have a lot more to say on this .

Thank you for putting it all so succinctly. As a never in, I just couldn’t fathom why any sentient being would allow themselves and many others to be treated this way. Sheer madness of all concerned. But yes the ‘brain washing’ and the rubbish about the greater good is thoroughly entrenched, although the greater good is really all about, ‘moare moneeeeeeeeee’ and these once good people have sunk to the depths of David Miscavage insatiable lust for $$$$ and his psychopathic view of the world and his free slaves.
They live in poverty and mortal terror and that’s the way he likes it. His overt cruelty gives him a lot of pleasure and the fact that he is self appointed Pope furthers this megalomania. He really is in urgent need of psychiatric care as he is a danger to the community and should be locked up and not be allowed out of a psyche hospital for the rest of his natural life.

A lot of the Constantine misinformation is kind of sloppily, deliberately spread by Dan Brown and his ilk.
It is worth noting that even if we take Constantine’s conversion to Christaianity as historical fact, and his motives as basically religious in nature (and you can find people willing to argue both these points, particularly the second one), simply becasue he presided over the council of Nicaea doesn’t mean that he controlled its outcome…

It is also worth nothing, that while, as Robert so rightly points out, the basic ‘canon’ was well-established prior to being ‘officialised’, ‘heresy’ was rampant, and many of the affirmations of the Nicaean Creed were clear indications of what the One True Holy Catholic Church accepted and what it did not.
