I found a great natural remedy in a Health food store. It's basically oil and garlic, just IF you run out of the antibiotics and still need *something*. Scientology would have to prove that.

Maybe, a person has to be tested in court, be proven to have “stolen” files, for then Scientology to THEN claim that that person “stole” the files.

This is minor, and an interpretive point.

I think thus, were I John, or were I a future Tom Rummelhart type of person, the thing to do is bring those files to the FBI for the FBI to interpret those files and see if the person was justified in “stealing” them for self protection like in the case of Gerry Armstrong who didn’t steal files, he just ensured that the biographer Scientology had hired was the one who had the “files” just so the files were in the public to back up anything that Gerry wished to proved in Gerry’s claims about Scientology’s lies about L. Ron Hubbard’s life history.

Same for Scientology.

I think this point of the moment WHEN a Scientology inside staffer plans to defect, which files to take and to immediately give those files to the appropriate state or federal prosecutors, legally, so that successful prosecution can be done.

Or, do like Michael Misner, the old Guardian’s Office staffer who defected to the FBI.

To me, in history, going forward, laying out in print or video, a DIY video or “How to Defect from Scientology with Documents Legally for Dummies” book is needed.

So that this information of how to defect legally, and take only the files or evidence and give that evidence quickly to prosecutors for legal protection of the defecting person.

I also think that it would be useful for that person defecting to have a bit of the martyr in them, and them be willing to do time in prison, for any personal law violations they are involved with themselves, because really the outside crime punishment is far less bad than Scientology’s in house variable time punishment/redemption system of the RPF (Rehabilitation Project Force system for violating Sea Org members).

This seems like a good chapter or booklet and video to fully research legally, and make this info clear and public to Scientology Sea Org staff, about this option of how to do successfully legally like Gerry and Michael Misner did in Sea Org history, which was ensure the evidence was made public to prove Scientology’s lies and wrongs.

Someone with the smarts and time ought to write up the way to do it, so future defecting Scientologists know, from learning this even as kids, before they even join Scientology or join the Sea Org, but they know in the back of their minds that there are legal ways to whistleblow against any ongoing law violations of Scientology’s or the hugely discreditable offensive actions of Scientology.

Maybe even hiring a former Scientology lawyer to help draw up that info in a “TIPs for Defecting Scientologists for Dummies” book.

Agree completely. Sad part is we have had a couple of recent multiple arrests of Muslims planning terror attacks, then they held a protest claiming racism. So what are our red neck Aussies doing now? Well they are attacking Muslim women in the street, swearing at them, pulling of a lady’s hijab etc and why? Because women are easy targets of all sorts of violence, violence is not just physical its often verbal. Women do need to be able to protect themselves and Monique must have been terrified.

What should a person (especially single ladies) do when they are confronted with this crap? How to they protect themselves?

We all know the Rathburns are great and are very outgoing and open about their ordeal. At the same time there are people out there who do not have the ability to be outspoken critics.

The police and restraining orders can only get you so far. Lawsuits are all well and good but most of the folks that blow don’t have a lot of funds and what little they have needs to go to living expenses.

What steps or suggestions would you give someone who is currently being harassed or stalked by this cult?

I don’t mean to dwell on the issue, I just feel so bad for someone that is hiding from their front door in order to stay safe. =(

I just feel so bad for all those ladies out there who aren’t brave or have the connections the Rathburns do. I am sure they are bullying and harassing many people. I wish there was a way to help them.
