I understand. Thanks. You might find Heidi Macavoy’s 3 part series on Waking Up From Scientology helpful in dealing with these kind of responses, which are so counter to the human existence. Disconnection and indignation at the care and sympathy of another who has left the fold is a cultural disease within the church membership. Many have found this helpful in trying to deal with or communicate with current members.

Taken all together, the Church of Scientology’s legal structure and contracts form a malicious and evil legal system putatively designed to “Protect the Tech.” The actual intent is “to protect the cash flow and to protect the highest ranking SO member.”

Back in the day, Scientologists like Lyman and Denise Brennan believed they were protecting the Tech and LRH. Denise later left the Church and saw its malice and lies.

Lyman stayed in and became a wretched prisoner of the system he helped create. Lyman died a slave in captivity.

On the other hand, Denise left was able to beautifully transition into the woman she knew she had always been since birth. Denise died a free person.

Karma paid Lyman his just due and rewarded Denise for her courage.

Everyone dies. The question for people still in is this: Do you want to die a slave or a free person?
