Well, apparently his writing is too difficult for you. To me that says more about your intelligence level than about Hubbard’s writing skills….

Then how can you think of his hyperbolic, incoherent word salad as “writing?”

And I must admit, I grew up in America a lot of the time, so I did learn to speak there. Still, I don’t use my English that much (except here) so your words are quite welcome!

Your comments have the sound of a native English speaker, with all the commonly used phrases. Everyone makes lots of small mistakes here because we are often typing fast and trying to get a lot of comment into a small paragraph. Anyway, I’ve never thought of you as being ‘off the mark’ in your use of English. If it’s a second language for you, I must congratulate you.

Now, having said that, and if I wish to get picky and precise, your first sentence should read: “God knows that I make terrible mistakes . . .” But, as I said above, I might think that you were simply typing fast. And, because of the subject of your comment, I might also think that you set out to emphasize the mistakes for comic effect. 😉
