Martin Gardner’s “Fads and Fallacies” puts Hubbard in context with other cranks which Gardner gives chapters to, in this must read book.

Hubbard was a crank, displayed all the crank characteristics, and Gardner’s points are still valid, which your quotes selected from Hubbard support.

There ought to be a “Crank Pseudo-Science Repair List” as a joke to assess on ex Scientologists, to relieve them of the charge that this galactic crank L. Ron Hubbard caused them!

Someone ought to go through all those lectures that Hubbard was likely on drugs, as that would be important explanatory info to add to why so much of what he said is not worth wasting time trying to figure out, but realize he was out of it and making it up at that moment, high on some drugs!
