Techie — I so totally empathize. I spent so much time trying to figure out that particular “axiom” and only years later in my recovery, chanced upon an art definition that used almost exactly the same words — but but more clearly. In art, yep, you create the sense of space on a canvass by applying perspective, or the lines of dimension relative to the viewpoint of the viewer.

Of course when in, no one could look at art history books or even sit around in a small group and ask “what the heck do you think this means?” Nope. Back to the dictionary. How many meanings of “of” can you try on to see if you can get clarity on “space is a viewpoint of dimension”? No “verbal tech” allowed. Only one teacher — Ron. Learning is only in one direction — from Ron –> student. No dialogue. No understanding of pedagogy. Just indoctrination, invalidation of one’s own common sense, and more indoctrination.

Ever see those chalk drawings on floors or streets or sidewalks that look totally three dimensional — but only from one viewpoint? Bingo — there we have it from art: space is a viewpoint of dimension. You change your viewpoint, and the dimensions disappear.

I’d put Disconnection and Fair Game on Tier One, too.
