Thanks for bringing this up.

There are a couple of ways to approach this. First of all, get people to join a Meet Up group, and Meet Up group (there are hundreds– or even form one for this express purpose) and then they can Report other groups. Like this one. There is a “Report” text box under the “More” tab at the top.

They can also be cited for appropriating images that belong to others in their Photos tab. The collages of “art” have been stolen from various locations in the ‘net.

This is expressly NOT why Meet Up was created. The tag at the end of Mike Rinder’s Blog should be brought to the attention of Meet Up.

Join any one of a couple of hundred legitimate groups in Meet Up and you can report these for “Promoting a Venue.” Just click the “More” tab at the top.

Or you can virtually “join” his groups and leave comments specifying what he is up to. As far as I know, the comments cannot be removed.

Harsh.
