You are quite right in all what you said above, but we still want to be careful not to abuse Tony’s hospitality.
We need an efficient system to remind the RED Xers and to update them on what is happening without intruding and disturbing interesting debates.

Thank you for all the time and effort you and the Red X Gang folks have spent to this very worthy and important cause, Aegerprimo.

You are not posting too often. Maybe if more people helped, including myself I’m ashamed to say, it wouldn’t be necessary to put the invitation out for people to join the flaggers. Who knows? But even then, you still have the right to do so and as often you want or need to! Do not let people have you sit in the back of the bus or be forced to drink at “special” water fountains for their convenience. No one drives this bus but Tony and he is also the one who owns the fountains. Period. Fuck the others who are whining and carry on.

We are adults. We know how to reach our lazy ass fingers to collapse a comment thread IF it so damn annoying or bothersome! Post away. Post as often as you guys want to do as far as I’m concerned. That is how I understand the structure and purpose of this blog and this community that Tony created. Except for the proprietor himself (a supporter of Free Speech), no one else has the authority to act in the role of moderator and to directly, or in effect, limit commenters’ constitutional right to free speech in the Bunker – unless it verges into hate speech, threatens violence, or violates current obscenity or other laws, of course. And still, Tony’s comment 6 months ago made it quite clear that the responsibility to act on these was his and the decision was his alone.

After 24 hours, I’m still trying (but failing) to compose a calm, rational, and curse word free comment about this so called “issue” and I am still too infuriated at the idea of people trying to control or limit people’s right to free speech – especially on Tony’s blog of all places – to do it without causing a flame war and division in the Bunker. I’m doubly offended that the complaints were directed at people who were selflessly and tirelessly working to help bring down this damn cult by keeping people from being conned by the Craigslist ads and taking those first scientology or dianetics courses. Sheesh…

Sorry AP that you had to listen/read some of my rant. You can see why I’m staying away from the current comment section of the Bunker. I just don’t trust myself to speak right now. I figured/hoped you’d know me well enough by now to understand how unusual this anger is for me. It’s indicative of how important I think flagging is, and how much I support and appreciate the Red X flaggers’ time and efforts.
