Because there is more than enough factual information available to discredit LRH. No one should have to turn a typo into anything it’s not in order to mock him. The conspiracies that came of it are pretty funny, though.

As insane as this photo looks, when we were all on our “internship” in the 70’s…we were shown this photo. What did we do? We ALL went home, hooked up plants, and asked yes or no questions ..looking at our meters, expecting it to ‘read’ (react): “Are you getting enough water?” “Yes I am getting enough sunshine” etc. When NOTHING read (reacted) we realized it would be like we having HUGE clamps on us as big as a gigantic crane. LOL…insanity in action. It’s true…sad and true.

The worst part is we all stayed, figuring “ok, that didn’t work—we must need MORE auditing or training to get the “OT” powerz Hubbard had. RIGHT. IF you’re “in” and reading this, know this: from the bottom to OT 8…you will NOT get these supposed “powers”: PERIOD. Love to all 🙂 Tory/Magoo (…I got “in” in 1969, escaped out in July of 2000)

I know that I’ve read Bester in a lot of anthologies. From what I read in Wikipedia, he was one hell of an author. It mentions. “he stopped writing for the magazine in mid-1950 when editor John Campbell became preoccupied with L. Ron Hubbard and Dianetics, the forerunner to Scientology.”

I miss him, too.
