One thing that helps the IRS is that the govt. has no statute of limitations.

While these may be contrary to US law, these are not points in the 1993 tax agreement which are clearly contrary to US law. What points of the agreement itself are clearly contrary to US law? Are the refund representations by the CofS in the agreement itself, or in the documentation leading to the agreement? Granted there is inurement, not only to Miscavige but also to LRH (keeping in mind the IRS position that inurement does not end at death), but isn’t this a flouting of the law itself, not the agreement? My point here is that it is not so much the agreement that is being virtually ignored as the law itself. While the agreement theoretically could be opened and undone by the IRS for malfeasance and material misrepresentation by the CofS, the more direct route is to focus on CofS violations of public policy as a basis for revocation of exemption, such as those you suggest.

I did a little Google search and see how there was an article back in VV days. I was reading the blog back then but was out of the country and lacked internet access for the months surrounding that post. Living in South America (un)fortunately means there is no one to discuss Scientology with as no one’s heard of it so I have to rely on the Bunker for my fix, unlike when I lived in Los Angeles and Tampa.
